The HA!Man (Francois le Roux) was transformed over
two decades from being a cellist-pianist with a classical background into a
world-traversing spontaneous performer. Years in an artistic wilderness
shaped his ‘three-dimensional’ mind-set towards music, dance and writing that
captures true emotional flow. In his multi-layered shows and inspirational
workshops, people from all walks of life find high levels of skill meeting an
openess towards creative interaction. Based in South Africa, he self-manages
a prolific output and itinerary, active with both public and private
engagements and increasingly, independent HA! events. Die HA!Man (Francois le Roux) ondergaan 'n transformasie oor twee
Gebasseer in Suid Afrika, bestuur hy onafhanklik ‘n hoogs produktiewe
werklading en toerskedule, wat beide publieke en private geleenthede insluit,
asook toenemend onafhanklike “HA!” konserte. |

feedback as always you have left me speechless... and glowing. your
art... nah!... your connection to art... is turning you into one of the
new-world social scientists... the harbingers and bringers of the next wave of
consciousness... (Biren Shah, India) The closest to heavenly creativity I have ever been! My
spirit says 'Aha' with a sigh of relieve! You really inspired me. Thanks for
the honesty of your improvisations (Nadia Kruger, Johannesburg) You are a live force in the vibes of our global
creative moment. Your role in this world - trying to show people how to be
more than what uncreated life simply serves them - is an act you perform with
a dreamy sort of authority that touches me deeply. Seeing you on your feet or
with your cello is always a reminder to me that life can be graceful if only
we have it in us to respond with the right emotional tact. Your approach in
examining the emotional potentials of whatever instrument you are at that
moment entranced by is fresh, competent and exciting (Norman Morrisay,
Hogsback, SA) Almal is dit eens: jy is die
merkwaardigste talent wat nog ooit by ons feeste opgetree het! Dit was
fantasties (Koos Kruger, Kolligfees, 2007). I'l n'y a pas de mots pour le dire. Merci pour votre generosite. (Jean
Pierre Leduc, Montreal) Diepste harteroerseten.. ik vroeg me af hoe muziek in de hemel zal zijn!
(Jonneke Oskam, Renswoude) |

The basic HA!Man Show has the spontaneous cello as its core, played
solo, but mostly with accompaniments - a pool of original and varied electronic
recordings collected over years of HA!Man travels and projects. The HA!Man
Show is a journey of emotions,
mental images and creative surprises, as adventurous and multi-faceted as the
HA!Man's life itself. Common formats
are the house concert, fundraiser and community events, intimate public
venues and theatres, garden picnics, events in church buildings, school halls
and regular concert venues …
